LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

EGGSLUT

Venice Beach is not only one of LA's hubs for beachgoers and surfers, it also is home to some of the best places to eat in the area. Eggslut is a hip, and fun environment serving up out of this world breakfast sandwiches. I recommend ordering a sandwich with eggs, bacon and hot sauce on a brioche bun. This is also said to be one of Seth Rogan's favorite places to eat.

CAFE GRATITUDE

LA is known for its healthy options citywide for people who want to be vegetarian, vegan, etc. Cafe Gratitude provides options for any group you may associate yourself with. Couple that with a vibrant dining area and you have got yourself a terrific breakfast and lunch spot on Rose Ave and 5th. The location is a 5-10 minute drive from the beach depending on the traffic.

JAPADOG

The Santa Monica Pier is a major landmark when you think of the city of Los Angeles. At first glance you will see the numerous rides that create great times for kids and adults alike. However, there is a cart on the pier called Japadog which combines the concept of the simple hot dog with a Japanese twist. Seaweed on a hot dog? Do not knock it until you try it!

MALIBU FARM

Malibu Farm is situated in the stunningly gorgeous Malibu, California out on the main pier. About fifteen minutes south you have LA and fifteen minutes north you have the picturesque campus of Pepperdine. Malibu Farm serves fresh, locally sourced food for hungry customers with an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean. I recommend getting there early as its popularity causes a massive wait.

NOBU MALIBU

Nobu is one of the world's most prominent Japanese fine dining restaurant chains. One of the best locations rests right in Malibu along the Pacific. This spot is an absolute hub for famous celebrities to come and bring their loved ones. When I went I got to meet Simon Cowell! I suggest sitting outside just as the sun is setting. Nobu Malibu is in my personal top 5 for my favorite meals I have ever had. I suggest spending a little bit more money to experience the 7 course meal.
